Grounding

During times of uncertainty, it is imperative that you get grounded if you already haven’t. Grounding provides us with the opportunity to connect with the source, God. Grounding is a time to truly dig deeper, recognize what is happening around us and not in us, and move forward with confidence that God is in control. Grounding allows us to stay in the present moment. You are not reaching for the past or looking toward the future, you are in the present moment, which is the only moment that truly matters. Scripture tells us in Psalm 46: 10, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” God is saying to us, stop what you are doing and focus on me. As we ground, we have to turn off the noise of the world, and we must get grounding in the things of God in order to be propelled forward in a new season.
